Who it is for

Programme teams, NGO directors, university research offices, and lead applicants preparing competitive grant, donor, or institutional funding applications who need an independent reader before the deadline.

What you receive

A written findings memo covering narrative coherence, eligibility fit, budget–narrative alignment, annex completeness, and reviewer risk points — plus a prioritised fix list and a 45-minute briefing with the auditor.

Scope

One complete submission pack for a single call or funding window. We review the main narrative, logical framework or equivalent, budget and budget notes, required forms, letters of support, CVs or organisational profiles as submitted, and the annex index. We mark inconsistencies between sections and flag missing materials named in the guidelines.

Included

  • Full pack reading against the funder or institution guidelines you provide
  • Written findings memo (typically 8–14 pages)
  • Prioritised repair list ordered by submission risk
  • One 45-minute briefing call (video or phone)
  • One round of clarifying questions by email during the review window

Not included

  • Ghostwriting or redrafting of narrative sections
  • Budget reconstruction or financial modelling
  • Guarantees of award or shortlisting
  • Simultaneous review of multiple unrelated applications

When teams ask for our flagship audit, they usually already know the application is “almost ready.” The audit tests that claim against the guidelines, not against the writers’ familiarity with their own draft.

How the audit runs

  1. 0

    Scoping

A short call or written brief confirms the funder, deadline, pack contents, and whether eligibility is already settled.

  2. 0

    Intake

You send the pack and guidelines. We confirm file completeness and the review calendar before work begins.

  3. 0

    Audit

The auditor reads the full pack, cross-checks sections, and drafts the findings memo and fix list.

  4. 0

    Briefing

We walk you through the highest-risk findings so your team can revise with a shared priority order.

Constraints & notes

We need the guidelines document and a pack that is substantially complete. Packs still missing major mandatory sections will be paused until those drafts arrive. Rush windows under five working days are quoted separately and may shorten the memo format.
