Cookie notice

What cookies are, which ones this site may use, and how you control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can keep preferences, remember consent choices, or help us understand aggregate traffic patterns.

Types we use

Essential cookies store your cookie consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every page load. These are required for the preference feature to work.

Analytics cookies load only if you accept optional cookies. They help us see which pages about audits of applications are read most often. Rejecting analytics does not block browsing, forms, or content.

Managing cookies

Use the Accept or Reject buttons on the cookie banner. You can clear site data in your browser to reset the preference and see the banner again. Browser settings also let you block cookies entirely.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may cause your browser to contact Google’s servers. We do not control Google’s independent processing. We do not load advertising cookies.

Impact of disabling

Disabling essential storage may cause the consent banner to reappear frequently. Disabling analytics has no effect on requesting an audit or reading Field Notes.
