Terms of engagement
These terms apply to audits and related advisory work offered by AI Data Engineering Audit.
Acceptance
By requesting an audit, paying a booking deposit, or using this website to submit a brief, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not engage our services.
Services
We provide written audits of application materials and related short consultations as described on our Audits and Fees pages. Engagements begin only after written fee confirmation. We do not guarantee admission, funding, or licensing outcomes.
Client responsibilities
You confirm that materials you share are yours to disclose, that programme rules allow external review, and that deadlines and prompts you provide are accurate. You remain responsible for final submissions to any institution or funder.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your drafts. Findings memos and annotated comments we produce are licensed to you for personal use in preparing your application. You may not resell our memos or present them as institutional decisions. Our website content remains our property.
Confidentiality
We treat application materials as confidential and do not share them with third parties except as required by law or with your instruction (for example, if you ask us to review a joint draft with a co-applicant).
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed deadlines caused by late document delivery on your side, or for decisions of universities, funders, or licensing bodies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Courts with jurisdiction in 青森県 shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued engagement after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for new work.
